However, as a precautionary measure, tokens in the SushiSwap, ShibaSwap, and ETH PancakeSwap pools will experience temporary unavailability. Maestro users are urged to stay informed about the ongoing situation through official channels.

The vulnerability in question appears to be related to an external call weakness in the Maestro Router 2 contract. This weakness allowed attackers to gain unauthorized access, enabling them to siphon off more than 280 ETH from Maestro’s funds. The incident highlights the ongoing challenges faced by blockchain projects in ensuring the robustness of their smart contracts.

Maestro’s security team is actively working to conduct a thorough post-mortem analysis to identify the root cause of the vulnerability and implement additional security measures to prevent future exploits.

While the Maestro team assures users that the vulnerability has been resolved, the temporary unavailability of tokens in SushiSwap, ShibaSwap, and ETH PancakeSwap pools underscores the interconnected nature of the cryptocurrency ecosystem. Users with holdings in these pools are advised to stay updated on official announcements regarding the restoration of services.
