Using Samsung Galaxy A14 5G Smartphone for VRSC Crypto Mining

After the disappointing experience with the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G, which had a 32-bit OS and was unable to be used for mining, we tested the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G to see if it fared any better. Despite our initial concerns, we decided to take a risk after finding a good price deal on the Total by Verizon Samsung Galaxy A14 5G on Amazon. The A14 5G had promising specifications and a temporary price drop to $59 USD, although it has since returned to $79.99 USD. The question remained whether the A14 5G could deliver when it came to mining VerusCoin.

Upon receiving the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G, we found it to be a large smartphone with a 6.6-inch display, featuring the Mediatek Dimensity 700 chipset with 8 ARM CPU cores. Unlike its predecessor, the A14 5G came equipped with a 64-bit OS, making it suitable for crypto mining. However, the results of our mining tests were not as impressive as we had hoped for, with performance falling short of expectations. It’s worth noting that there is another version of the A14 5G with an Exynos 1330 chipset, which may offer better results in terms of mining performance.

While the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G is capable of mining VerusCoin and provides a decent hashrate, it may not be the most cost-effective or high-performing option available. Despite initially showing a higher hashrate, the device’s performance eventually stabilized at a level that was less than optimal for efficient mining. Ultimately, while the A14 5G does have some positive aspects, there are likely better alternatives to consider for those looking to engage in crypto mining.
