This election is crucial for the Bitcoin community, as Trump promises favorable regulations compared to Harris, who has a history of attacking the industry. Furthermore, the election presents the best chance to free Ross Ulbricht, an early Bitcoin pioneer and founder of the Silk Road marketplace. Ulbricht has been in prison for over 12 years, and his supporters believe it’s time for him to be released. However, there is no evidence to suggest that Harris would support the Bitcoin industry or work towards Ulbricht’s release.
