According to a report from BlockBeats news, on October 6th, the Sui ecological MEME currency HIPPO made a generous donation of 5 million baht, approximately US$150,000, to the Khao Kheow Zoo in Thailand where the beloved Internet celebrity hippopotamus MooDeng resides.
It was previously reported by BlockBeats that on September 27th, MooDeng, the prototype hippopotamus, continued to capture the hearts of many, with various foreign media outlets publishing special features about it. Time magazine even called MooDeng a “lifestyle icon” and “a legend” in a video column released on the 12th, showcasing its love for eating, sleeping, and playing with treasures.
MooDeng has gained a large following and will soon be featured on merchandise at the zoo. The Thai Embassy in Tokyo and cosmetics company Sephora Thailand have also shown interest in interacting with this beloved hippo.
