Sol Strategies, a crypto investment company, has acquired four verification nodes for nearly $18 million in cash and shares from Cogent Crypto, a high-performance verification node operator in the Solana ecosystem. The acquisition includes validating nodes for the Solana, Sui, Monad, and ARCH networks, with the majority of the funds focused on SOL.
The total investment value is divided into three phases, with $1 million in cash and approximately $1 million in company shares paid at closing, and the remainder to be distributed in shares over three years.
