Signal, a privacy-focused messaging app, has recently introduced new video calling features to compete with Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. These features include a “calls” tab, customizable call links, reactions, and more. The “calls” tab allows users to start calls, manage call links, and view call history.
Additionally, users can customize calls by naming them, allowing or excluding participants, and blocking others. The app also offers a “raise your hand” feature so participants can indicate if they have questions. Signal also offers enhanced encrypted video calls with up to 50 participants.
