It seeks to tackle the current limitations of the EVM, such as single-threaded nature, transaction bottlenecks, high gas fees, and slow finality times, by working on innovative approaches like horizontal scaling. The Sei Research Initiative is guided by core principles like relentless innovation, community-first open-source collaboration, and decentralization.
The team invites developers, researchers, and community members to participate in this open-source collaboration and explore opportunities like Sei Protocol’s documentation, grant initiatives, and funds.
