Riot Platforms, a Bitcoin mining company, has reported an increase in production and hash rate for October 2024. The company’s production rose by 23% from September and 10% year-over-year. Riot’s deployed hash rate reached 29.4 exahashes per second, up by 5% from the previous month and 152% compared to October 2023.
This growth was driven by new-generation MicroBT miners at the Corsicana facility. Riot is also advancing its Corsicana facility, with Phase 1 nearing completion and Phase 2 development commencing. The company’s Bitcoin holdings increased by 5% from September and 49% from the previous year, with no Bitcoin sold in October.
