According to BlockBeats news, on October 9, OpenAI is forming a team in Singapore to support the growing demand for artificial intelligence tools in the Asia-Pacific region. The new office will be opened by the end of this year. Additionally, OpenAI is collaborating with the Artificial Intelligence Association of Singapore (AI Singapore).
OpenAI said in a statement that Singapore is one of the countries with the highest usage of ChatGPT per capita. Earlier this year, OpenAI opened its first Asian office in Tokyo, Japan, to provide customized GPT-4 models to Japanese-speaking customers. Singapore is now the Asian hub for several major US internet companies, including Google and Meta Platforms. The two companies are also working together to build undersea internet cables to support faster communications between Singapore and the U.S. West Coast. (Golden Ten)
