Joshua Paul Armbrust, a 44-year-old man from Minnesota, has been charged with stealing computing resources from his former employer, Digital River, in a scheme called “cryptojacking.” He
allegedly used these resources to mine ether (ETH), causing over $45,000 in damages. Armbrust, who resigned from his job at Digital River, gained access to the company’s Amazon resources.
