LangChain, a developer of blockchain technical solutions, has rebranded and expanded its infrastructure offering, now called the LangGraph Platform. The platform offers services to support the deployment and scalability of LangGraph applications, including self-hosted and cloud solutions.
With the announcement according to LangChain’s official blog, LangGraph Platform now offers a diverse range of deployment options for developers, including self-hosted lite, cloud SaaS, bring your own cloud (BYOC), and self-hosted enterprise.
The platform brings together key components like LangGraph Server, LangGraph Studio, and a Command Line Interface (CLI) and Software Development Kit (SDK). Key features such as task queues, long-running agent support, and data persistence further optimize the server for large works. In a developer-friendly move, LangGraph Studio has been released for desktop use to facilitate local debugging capabilities.
LangChain’s detailed future plans include introducing advanced authentication and intelligent caching features to the platform. This comes as part of a larger push to simplify and streamline the complicated infrastructure requirements for elaborate agent applications.
To begin exploring the LangGraph Platform, developers have the option from the Self-Hosted Lite version or opt for the Cloud SaaS version for a broader business-oriented approach. For extensive security requirements, the BYOC or Self-Hosted Enterprise versions would be beneficial.
