Polytope Labs, a group of researchers and engineers, has launched Hyperbridge, a protocol designed to facilitate secure and scalable cross-chain communication across multiple blockchains. After receiving $2.5 million in seed funding from the Web3 Foundation and Scytale Digital, the protocol is now available for users.
Hyperbridge currently supports Ethereum, Optimism, Arbitrum, Base, BNB Chain, and Gnosis. The protocol has completed two testnet cycles, processing over 600,000 cross-chain messages and securing 66 independent relayers along the way. Its Gateway feature offers high security, instant access to multichain liquidity, and finality validation, bringing the next generation of decentralized applications to the market.
Hyperbridge plans to become a leading infrastructure for DeFi, DAOs, and on-chain finance, with a focus on interoperability, scalability, and privacy as blockchain adoption grows.
