Extending FTX Europe Suspension: Cyprus Regulators Fourth Decision Allows Withdrawals

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) has recently extended the suspension on FTX Europe for the fourth time. This suspension prevents trading activities on the platform, but it still allows customers to withdraw their funds. The initial suspension took place on February 2, 2022, after which CySEC conducted a thorough investigation into FTX Europe’s operations.

Following the investigation, CySEC extended the suspension three times, with the most recent extension occurring on May 23, 2022. The primary reason for the suspension is related to concerns about the company’s licensing status and compliance with the regulatory framework.
