October 4, 2024 – Deribit has announced a scheduled system maintenance set for 17:00 on October 8 (Beijing time), during which the platform is expected to be down for approximately 15-30 minutes. During this maintenance window, clients will be unable to communicate with Deribit systems.
In conjunction with the maintenance, Deribit is introducing a new yield-based cryptocurrency called USYC. The platform will launch USYC_USDC spot trading and incorporate USYC into its cross-collateralization pool. This enhancement will allow users to trade various products, including BTC, ETH, USDC, and USDT, using USYC as collateral.
As these changes roll out, users are encouraged to plan accordingly for the brief downtime and to take advantage of the new trading opportunities that USYC will offer.
