On November 1st, as reported by Cointelegraph, Bitcoin mining company CleanSpark stated that following the acquisition of US infrastructure firm GRIID, its mining capacity had increased by 50 megawatts. Consequently, the company moved closer to realizing its goal of establishing 400 megawatts of production capacity in the coming years.
U.S. Senator Bill Hagerty welcomed CleanSpark to Tennessee, highlighting that the state is an excellent place to grow a business. It has quickly become one of the epicenters of the U.S. Bitcoin industry. In September of this year, CleanSpark agreed to purchase seven mining facilities and related land in the Knoxville area of Tennessee, increasing the company’s computing power by 22%. The company also noted in its fiscal year report released on October 4 that its computing power had increased by 187% in the past 12 months.
