On November 13, Bitcoin developer Professor Yu Feng, founder and CEO of Nubit, announced at the Mass Adoption Forum of Devcon 2024 that Nubit and its partners Zerosync, Citrea, Alpen Labs, and Strata have successfully broken through technical barriers in Bitcoin programming adoption. Using BitVM technology, Nubit has developed an integrated development environment (IDE) that allows for decentralized application development in the Bitcoin ecosystem.
BitVM gives Bitcoin the ability to perform complex calculations while maintaining its original security and decentralization features. The IDE application enables developers to test and verify smart contract implementations directly on Bitcoin, potentially bringing new vitality to the blockchain and laying the groundwork for large-scale application.
