Amina Crypto Bank Files for Austrian VASP License

According to BlockBeats, on September 10, Franz Bergmüller, CEO of Switzerland-based crypto bank Amina, said the company is applying for a virtual asset service provider (VASP) license from the Austrian Financial Market Authority. Bergmüller said the bank must set up a new team before conducting business or generating revenue in Austria.

“As a bank, we are approaching break-even, but we have deliberately decided to prioritize investments for growth at the moment,” said Franz Bergmüller.

It is reported that Amina, formerly known as SEBA Bank, established its headquarters in Zug, Switzerland in April 2022.
