Worldcoin Rebrands as “World Network” With Major Updates and Technological Improvements

Worldcoin, the cryptocurrency project co-founded by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, has announced that it will be rebranded as “World Network,” or simply “World.” Co-founders Altman and Alex Blania revealed this decision along with numerous technological and structural enhancements during a major event in San Francisco last week. These changes are designed to expand the project’s global reach even further.

One of the central aspects of these updates involves the next-generation Orb – Worldcoin’s distinct retinal scanning device. Developed using NVIDIA’s Jetson chipset, this latest iteration offers almost five times the artificial intelligence processing capabilities compared to previous models.
