Worldcoin, a cryptocurrency firm founded by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, is gearing up to migrate its World App from Polygon to the Optimism mainnet. The move comes just days after the launch of World App, a crypto wallet that aims to make it easy for people to buy, sell, and store cryptocurrencies.

Worldcoin Optimism Mainnet

The World App, which claims to have 1.6 million registered users and 500,000 monthly active users, will be migrated to the Optimism mainnet in order to take advantage of the network’s faster transaction times and lower fees.

Additionally, the World ID protocol, which enables users to verify their identity without revealing personal information, will also be available on the OP mainnet.
