Trump’s ‘Hush Money’ Case Withdrawn by Judge, Hearing Set for December 2nd

A judge in New York approved President-elect Trump’s request to withdraw his “hush money” criminal case on November 23rd. The case was scheduled to be sentenced on November 26. Trump’s lawyers believe that the case will cause unconstitutional obstacles to his ability to govern, and must be dropped.

The Manhattan District Attorney asked the New York State Supreme Court to consider delaying all proceedings in the case until the end of Trump’s presidency.
