The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is looking for a new chairman, and one name that has recently come up is Dan Gallagher. Dan used to work at the SEC from 2011 to 2015, and he is currently the chief legal and compliance officer at a company called Robinhood. People think he might be the next SEC chairman because he is liked by people who work with cryptocurrency, and they gave a lot of money to help Donald Trump win the election.
Other people who might become the SEC chairman also include Mark Uyeda and Hester Peirce.
