On November 22nd, a judge in New York approved President-elect Trump’s request to remove his “hush money” criminal case. This case was originally set for November 26th, but Trump’s lawyers have requested that it be delayed until the end of his presidency. They argue that the case is causing “unconstitutional obstacles” to his ability to govern and should be dropped.
The deadline for Trump to submit his withdrawal motion is December 2nd, and prosecutors have until December 9th to respond.
