Cryptocurrency exchange Upbit has announced a temporary suspension of NEAR Protocol transactions due to an upcoming network upgrade. Deposit and withdrawal support will be suspended starting from November 5, 2024 (Monday) at 18:00 Korea time until the stability of the hard fork is confirmed. Trading of NEAR will continue during the suspension, but users are advised to refrain from depositing NEAR during this period.
The return of certain digital assets will also be paused and resume sequentially after the suspension ends. Users may experience delays in deposits even after the suspension due to network congestion. Upbit is working with the NEAR Protocol team for the safety of users’ assets during the upgrade process.
