On July 19, 2024, the Solana official Chinese community announced a significant rebranding, evolving into Solar Solana Chinese Community. This new decentralized organization aims to drive the Solana ecosystem’s growth within the Chinese-speaking regions, continuing the mission of fostering development and community engagement in the blockchain space.
A Year of Achievements
Over the past year, the Solana Chinese community has made remarkable strides. They organized over 100 online and offline events across mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore. These events attracted more than 1,500 high-quality developers and spurred the participation of over 250 Chinese projects in Solana hackathons. This robust activity highlights the community’s dynamic and influential presence within the Solana ecosystem (Web3 Infrastructure for Everyone) (CoinGecko).
The Vision of Solar
Solar is set to build on this legacy, aiming to empower the community through various ecological and localized educational activities. Their goal is to support Chinese-speaking developers and entrepreneurs, ensuring they have the resources and opportunities to thrive in the Solana ecosystem. By doing so, Solar hopes to integrate the Chinese-speaking community more deeply into the global Solana network (Web3 Infrastructure for Everyone).
