According to BlockBeats, the DAO governance platform Snapshot X was officially launched on September 9. The platform introduced a new protocol based on Layer 2 and implemented the DAO zero-gas-fee on-chain voting function through Starknet’s rollup technology.
Snapshot Labs COO Jeremy Musighi said this is a turning point for on-chain governance, enabling DAOs to provide the community with free on-chain voting for the first time and increase participation in decision-making.
The system also utilizes Mana, a transaction relayer that allows users to sign votes using their Ethereum wallets, which are then relayed to the Starknet network.
