Sierra, an artificial intelligence startup, is quadrupling its valuation to $4.5 billion in a recent funding round. The company, co-founded by ex-Salesforce co-CEO Bret Taylor, raised $175 million led by Greenoaks Capital. Sierra is focused on helping businesses personalize and implement AI agents for customer service.
The startup uses a “constellation” of models with a “supervisor” to help with accuracy. Sierra is competing with other companies such as Salesforce and Microsoft in the AI agent space.
