According to Odaily, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has postponed its decision on the Ethereum spot ETF applications submitted by BlackRock and Bitwise. The new deadlines for the decisions are November 10 and November 11, respectively. The SEC stated that it requires additional time to review the proposals, extending the initial 45-day review period. This extension follows the submission of the iShares Ethereum Trust ETF rule change by Nasdaq on July 22, with the original review period set to conclude on September 26.Previously, the SEC had approved the listing of BlackRock’s Bitcoin spot ETF (IBIT) options.
