According to BlockBeats, on September 27, TheBlock reported that Revolve Labs, a Bitcoin mining facility provider, recently announced that it had withdrawn its application to build a Bitcoin mine outside the town of Windom, Minnesota. The decision stemmed from local residents’ concerns about noise pollution and the impact on property values. The project was originally expected to bring $35,000 in service fee income to the town each month and was expected to stabilize electricity bills over the next three years. Although Revolve Labs promised to control potential noise pollution, residents’ concerns have not been eliminated.
