BlockBeats News reports that on November 8th, Pond, a crypto AI model layer, completed a $7.5 million seed round of financing led by Archetype. Notable participants included Cyber Fund, Delphi Ventures, Coinbase Ventures, ANAGRAM, comfy capital, PAKA, Near Protocol co-founder Illia Polosukhin, Plume Network CEO and co-founder Chris Yin, Matrixport founding partner and COO Cynthia Wu, and Flashbots Head of Research Tesa Ho.
The funds will be used to expand its crypto AI applications in areas such as DeFi risk management, internal trade detection, and more. Initially, Pond developed a user search engine based on on-chain data, but has now expanded to build a complete model ecosystem covering data, model computation, training, and inference.
