Binance has announced the latest project on its Launchpad platform: Open Campus (EDU). This news comes as Binance continues to expand its offerings and solidify its position in the crypto space. The Open Campus token sale will follow the Launchpad subscription format, with users’ BNB balances being recorded between 2023-04-23 00:00 (UTC) and 2023-04-28 00:00 (UTC). The final BNB holding amount for each user will be determined as the average of the five days, using the Daily Average BNB Balance calculation. The token sale format will be subscription-based, with a hard cap of $2.5 million and a hard cap per user of $15,000.
Open Campus (EDU) total token supply
Open Campus (EDU) has a total token supply of 1,000,000,000 EDU, with 5% of the total token supply allocated to Binance Launchpad, which translates to 50,000,000 EDU. The public sale token price is set at 1 EDU = 0.05 USD (price in BNB will be determined prior to subscription).
The subscription timeline will consist of three periods: Preparation, Subscription, and Calculation. During the Preparation Period, which runs from 2023-04-23 00:00 (UTC) to 2023-04-28 00:00 (UTC), user BNB balances will be calculated in hourly snapshots for each day over a five-day period. The Subscription Period will start at 2023-04-28 06:00 (UTC) and will last for three hours. Users must sign the Token Purchase Agreement at the same time, prior to committing their BNB.
Once committed, the user’s BNB will be locked, and they will not be able to redeem or access any other functions such as transfers, withdrawals or trading until the final token distribution. The Calculation Period starts at 2023-04-28 09:00 (UTC) and runs until 2023-04-28 10:00 (UTC), where subscription closes and token allocation calculation begins.
The final token distribution will occur at 2023-04-28 10:00 (UTC), with the user’s final token allocation being calculated, and the corresponding BNB will be deducted from their already-locked BNB amount. Once deducted, the EDU and BNB tokens will both be transferred to the user’s spot wallet.
