North Korea Steals $42 Million Ethereum from Upbit Cryptocurrency Platform

On November 21, Yonhap News Agency reported that North Korea stole $42 million worth of Ethereum from Upbit, a cryptocurrency trading platform, according to South Korea’s N

ational Police. It is believed that the North Korean state-sponsored hacking group Lazarus and Andariel were responsible for the theft of 342,000 Ethereum in November 2019.
