Candy Digital, the NFT firm that made waves with its Major League Baseball collectibles, is now teaming up with Getty Images to launch a new collection of NFTs featuring iconic musicians of the 1970s. The collection will include photos of legendary artists such as Elvis Presley, John Lennon, and James Brown, captured by some of the era’s most renowned photographers.

The open-edition mint is scheduled for March 21, and marks the latest collaboration between Candy and Getty, following their partnership announcement last May. Candy has previously launched collections related to sports and entertainment, securing licenses with companies like Netflix and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

The new collection is expected to generate significant interest among music fans and NFT collectors alike, as the popularity of NFTs continues to soar. With Candy’s track record of successful launches and Getty’s vast archive of iconic images, the collaboration is poised to be a hit. Fans of classic rock and roll will have the opportunity to own a piece of music history in the form of a unique, blockchain-based NFT.
