Namecheap’s Bitcoin Transactions Reach $73 Million, Marking a New Revenue Milestone

Namecheap, a domain registration service, has experienced a significant increase in bitcoin transactions. Over 1.1 million bitcoin transactions took place, generating $73 million in revenue. The company has been operating for over 20 years and was the first domain registrar to accept bitcoin payments for domain services, starting in 2013 with Bitpay.

In 2020, Namecheap also integrated Btcpay, further enhancing its support for cryptocurrency transactions.
