Mysten Labs co-founder: Sui is testing the ability to provide offline crypto transactions via radio waves

According to BlockBeats, on September 4, according to Coinelegaraph, Mysten Labs co-founder Adeniyi Abiodun said in an interview that his team has completed research on using radio waves to provide offline encrypted transactions, enabling the Sui blockchain to transmit transactions using only long-distance radio, and even compress transactions into smaller text messages.

Abiodun said Sui has tested this approach and “it already works,” and now the task is to integrate it into IoT devices, which may also benefit the decentralized physical infrastructure (DePIN) project. Sui is working with Canadian mobile service provider Chip Wireless to test its ideas and is considering expanding to target markets such as Africa.
