MoonPay CEO Ivan Soto-Wright has predicted that the next phase of NFT adoption will come from “brands you love in your everyday life.” Speaking to Decrypt’s Liam Kelly at NFT Paris, Soto-Wright explained that NFTs are clearly not “waning” and that MoonPay is working with brands like Puma and Nike to manage their Web3 plays and smart contracts.
Soto-Wright believes that NFTs and crypto will go mainstream when they can integrate into our daily lives, and he predicts that brands will drive that integration. “We’re going to see brands that we love and use every day start to integrate NFTs and crypto into their products and services,” he said. “That’s when we’ll see mass adoption.”
MoonPay is already working with several major brands to help them navigate the world of Web3 and smart contracts. “We’re helping these brands to understand how they can use NFTs and crypto to engage with their customers in new and exciting ways,” Soto-Wright explained.
He added that MoonPay is also working to make it easier for everyday consumers to buy and sell NFTs and crypto. “We want to make it as easy as possible for people to get involved in this space,” he said. “That’s why we’re focused on creating a seamless user experience that anyone can use.”
As NFTs continue to gain popularity, it’s clear that they’re not just a passing fad. With the help of companies like MoonPay and major brands, NFTs and crypto could soon become a part of our everyday lives.
