Montenegrin Supreme Court to Rule on Do Kwon Extradition Legality

BlockBeats reported that the acting president of the Montenegrin Supreme Court, Vesna Vučković, announced that the court is expected to rule by the end of the month on the legality of the extradition ruling involving Do Kwon, the founder of Terraform Labs. The ruling is in response to a “legality protection request” submitted by the Supreme State Prosecutor, who argues that there were several legal violations in the final judgments made by the High Court and the Court of Appeal regarding Do Kwon’s extradition.

Do Kwon, a central figure in the collapse of the Terra-LUNA cryptocurrency ecosystem, is facing extradition requests from multiple countries due to his involvement in alleged fraud and financial crimes related to the crash of the TerraUSD stablecoin. The Montenegrin Supreme Court’s upcoming decision will determine whether his extradition process was carried out lawfully, which could significantly impact how and where he will face legal consequences for his actions in the crypto space.
