Merge Madrid 24, the conference discussing the Web3 ecosystem for Europe and Latin America, closed its doors in Madrid after three intense days of networking, innovation, and immersive experiences. The network is in line with the European Blockchain Services Infrastructure (EBSI) and will allow Spain to innovate in sectors like finance, automotive, and logistics.Leaders from major global corporations and a high-level speaker lineup delved into blockchain technology’s future across various sectors, such as global crypto regulation, tokenization of physical-backed assets, blockchain interoperability, and the evolution of digital asset payments.

Notable roundtables focused on global crypto regulation, the MiCA law’s impact in Europe, the 21st-century payments ecosystem with stablecoins, the new creator economy paradigm powered by Web3, and the fusion of AI and blockchain shaping new business models.The conference also included a Startup Competition sponsored by Tritemius, where 19 finalists competed in categories like real estate tokenization, carbon credit tokenization, community management, and Web3 cybersecurity.
