LangChain has unveiled its reformed infrastructure service, now called the LangGraph Platform, aimed at deploying and scaling LangGraph applications. This update introduces several deployment options, amplifying the original LangGraph Cloud launched earlier this year as per LangChain’s official blog.
LangGraph Platform offers four exclusive deployment options:
1. **Self-Hosted Lite**: A free, limited version permitting local or self-hosted execution of up to 1 million nodes.
2. **Cloud SaaS**: A fully managed service currently in beta and available for LangSmith Plus or Enterprise plan users.
3. **Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC)**: Authorizes deployment in a user’s VPC with LangChain managing provisioning and maintenance, presently offered for AWS.
4. **Self-Hosted Enterprise**: Enables complete deployment on a user’s own infrastructure.
The platform integrates key components, embracing LangGraph Server and LangGraph Studio with a CLI and SDK, facilitating a comprehensive infrastructure solution for developers deploying agents at scale. LangGraph Server excels in managing large workloads with features such as task queues, support for long-running agents, and data persistence.
LangGraph Studio, now released in desktop version, allows developers to debug locally. The platform’s APIs foster interactive, context-aware agent experiences with features like streaming runs for real-time outputs, background runs for batch processing, and concurrency control.
LangChain plans to introduce additional features, such as advanced authentication and intelligent caching, to bolster the platform further. This investment endeavors to simplify the intricate infrastructure requirements to support sophisticated agent applications.
Developers interested in dipping their toes into the LangGraph Platform can begin with the Self-Hosted Lite version or opt for the Cloud SaaS version for wider accessibility. Those demanding increased security can opt for the BYOC or Self-Hosted Enterprise options.
