Kamino plans to release V2, adopting modular design and improving liquidation mechanism

According to BlockBeats, on September 4, Solana’s lending protocol Kamino announced that it expects to release version V2 in the fourth quarter of this year. This version adopts modularization in the market layer to support a wide range of assets, and the new yield layer Vault Layer introduces automated single asset lending, combining market liquidity to provide risk-optimized returns.

In terms of the liquidation engine, Kamino V2 uses an oracle mechanism to protect users from unnecessary liquidation, and combines liquidation auctions to reduce liquidation penalties. In terms of lending models, it can also choose between isolation or hybrid modes. In addition, the V2 version also introduces Multiply’s automatic cancellation of pledge and spot leverage functions.
