Digital Currency Group (DCG) has launched a new subsidiary called Yuma to help startups build decentralized intelligence projects using Bittensor’s infrastructure. With a focus on converging crypto and AI, this move is expected to contribute to the exponential growth of both sectors. DCG’s founder and CEO, Barry Silbert, will lead Yuma and aims to provide startups and enterprises with the capital, infrastructure, and technical expertise needed to develop applications on Bittensor’s decentralized AI network.
Bittensor is a decentralized AI network that allows global contributors to create, train, and access machine learning (ML) models in an open marketplace. Yuma actively participates across Bittensor as a validator, miner, and subnet developer, currently being the third-largest validator on the network.
