Crit-ics have accused the film of pro-moting baseless and dangerous accusations in search of a “big reveal”, with many viewers left confu-sioned by the cynical and poorly rea-ched claims made. The focus of the film appears to be little more than a conspiracy theory claiming that Adam Back, Peter Todd, and Greg Maxwell were in fact Satoshi Nakamoto, with little to no evidence support-ing these claims. Those involved in the creation of the documentay have been accused of hiding mistakes behind editing and taking short-cuts, rather than engage-ing in thorough investigative work.
