Ethereum Layer2 TVL Tops $35B; Arbitrum One, Base, OP Mainnet Lead Growth

BlockBeats reported that, according to data from L2BEAT, the total locked value (TVL) on Ethereum Layer 2 (L2) solutions has surged to $35 billion, marking a 5.33% increase over the past week. The five L2 networks with the highest locked values are:

  • Arbitrum One: $13.74 billion (7-day increase of 2.54%)
  • Base: $6.3 billion (7-day increase of 7.27%)
  • OP Mainnet: $5.89 billion (7-day increase of 7.06%)
  • Blast: $1.49 billion (7-day increase of 4.85%)
  • Mantle: $1.19 billion (7-day increase of 6.94%)

This growth in TVL reflects the increasing adoption of Layer 2 solutions, which aim to scale Ethereum by improving transaction speed and reducing costs. Layer 2 protocols like Arbitrum One and OP Mainnet continue to lead the pack, while newer players like Base and Mantle are gaining traction rapidly. The continued expansion signals rising demand for scalable decentralized finance (DeFi) and blockchain infrastructure.
