“All activities of the Office of Government Efficiency (DOGE) are published online for maximum transparency.”
As part of the project, Musk and his team want to cut at least $2 trillion from the $6.75 trillion annual US federal budget.
Involvement of the public
Musk cannot fail to emphasize the role of the public in the initiative. In his appeal, he encouraged people to share their views on government spending. As he wrote:
“If the public thinks we’re deducting money from something important, or not from something wasteful, just let us know!”
