The Eclipse Foundation has announced the creation of the ThreadX Alliance to promote the open-source real-time operating system and ensure its continued growth and sustainability. This comes after Microsoft handed over the Azure RTOS suite, including the ThreadX real-time operating system, to the Eclipse Foundation in November 2023.
