As we look to the next frontier, we see unlimited potential (in the metaverse) given our brands, franchises, physical and digital experiences, and global influence.” Tilak Mandadi, former executive vice president of Disney Digital, wrote an article on LinkedIn in 2020 about the creation of a theme park metaverse, “merging the physical and digital worlds” through wearable devices, smartphones, and digital access points.
