Crypto ATMs Rapid Rise: Cashs Gateway to Digital Currency

Cryptocurrency ATMs are becoming more popular, with 38,279 machines worldwide. This is a big increase from last year, when there were only 35,418 machines. 82% of these machines are in the U.S., with Canada having the second most at 7.7%. Coinme CEO Neil Bergquist said there may be a Coinme location within 5 miles of 90% of Americans.

This is more accessible than traditional banks. International growth is also happening, with Australia increasing the number of machines by 17 times in two years. Bergquist said these ATMs can help people who don’t have a bank account or who don’t trust banks. They can also help with sending money, making payments, and investing in crypto.

People can use the ATMs to buy and sell crypto with cash, which makes it easier than setting up an online account. Coinme is trying to help people learn more about crypto through their website cryptoliteracy.org.
