The Bobong Event, a meetup organized by Airdrop ng mga Bobo (ANMB), a Telegram-based community for crypto enthusiasts, has successfully gathered crypto airdrop farmers, web3 projects, and communities. The event took place on October 11, 2024, during the Manila leg of the Philippine Blockchain Week and was co-presented by OKX Wallet.
Key highlights of the event included the introduction of ANMB’s new Telegram bot to enhance its members’ airdrop farming experience. Attendees also enjoyed IRL airdrops in the form of merchandise from guest web3 projects and participated in various presentations on blockchain technology and crypto opportunities in the Philippines.
Dr. Donald Lim, president of Blockchain Council of the Philippines, and financial coach Chinkee Tan were among the notable attendees who shared their insights with fellow crypto enthusiasts. The event concluded with group photos taken before attendees had too much to drink.
