Coinbase CEO to Meet with President-Elect Trump on Crypto Collaboration

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong is set to meet with President-elect Donald Trump to discuss personnel appointments and potential collaborations with the cryptocurrency industry. While Armstrong has not been linked to Trump’s campaign through donations, he has previously stated that Coinbase is prepared to work with a Trump administration if necessary.

Trump has hinted at initiatives that would directly involve the crypto sector, such as creating a “Bitcoin and Crypto Presidential Advisory Council” to establish regulatory guidelines for the industry. Following the SEC’s lawsuit against Coinbase, Armstrong has taken a more active stance in advocating for pro-crypto candidates and contributing to committees favoring cryptocurrency regulation.

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has also confirmed plans to collaborate with Trump’s administration.
