Circle Moves Global HQ to One World Trade Center, New York, Mayor Eric Adams to Attend

According to BlockBeats, on September 13, CoinDesk reported that Circle, the second largest stablecoin issuer, will move its global headquarters to the iconic One World Trade Center in New York City, occupying one of the top floors of the tallest buildings in the Western Hemisphere. A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the relocation is planned for Friday, and New York Mayor Eric Adams will attend. Circle said in the opening promotion: “This will not be an ‘office’, it will become a powerful gathering space.”

Located on the site of the original World Trade Center, One World Trade Center, also known as the Freedom Tower, is currently the global headquarters of the Condé Nast Group and is home to companies such as MDC Partners, Reddit, Code & Theory, and BounceX. Circle’s previous US office was located in Boston and is currently planning to move its legal headquarters from Ireland to the United States. According to market data, Circle’s USDC is the second largest stablecoin after Tether’s USDT, with a market value of US$34 billion and a 24-hour trading volume of US$6.37 billion.
