Bitcoin MENA Conference Comes to Abu Dhabi in December 2024

The Bitcoin Conference, the world’s largest Bitcoin-themed event, will take place in Abu Dhabi at the ADNEC Center on December 9-10. The first Middle East and North Africa conference will be part of the global conference series, in cooperation with Capital Events, and will feature influential players in the cryptocurrency industry.

The event will explore key issues in the accelerating blockchain industry in the Middle East, with notable speakers such as former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci, Binance head of regional markets Vishal Sacheendran, and eToro co-founder and CEO Yoni Assia. The Bitcoin Conference series was first held in New York in 2011, with the Bitcoin Foundation founded at the event.

As DeFi and NFTs emerged, the focus of the conferences shifted to networking and investment opportunities. The Nashville Bitcoin 2024 event attracted more than 22,000 participants, with over 350 speakers including Donald J. Trump and Michael Saylor. The December 2024 Bitcoin MENA could be the anteroom for a new generation of such events, attracting not just tech enthusiasts and developers but a wider audience.
